About
Mitch, founder of Te Arai Construction, is deeply passionate about in-situ concrete and the craftsmanship behind creating architectural concrete features. With many years of experience working in high-end residential construction, he brings a strong understanding of both building and design, allowing him to deliver concrete work that is precise, durable, and visually striking. Mitch takes pride in collaborating with architects, builders, and clients to turn ideas into well-executed, lasting features.
Outside of work, Mitch spends as much time as possible in the ocean and outdoors. Whether it’s surfing, fishing, or spearfishing along the coast, staying active and connected to nature is a big part of his life. He also trains in jiu-jitsu and values time spent with his family, which continues to inspire the balance and passion he brings to both his work and lifestyle.
